Overview:
Greensboro Parks Foundation has partnered with the Guilford County Veterans Memorial Board of Directors to support enhancements to the Guilford County Veterans Memorial, located at Country Park. The project will revitalize this cherished community landmark, honoring the sacrifices of local veterans and ensuring the Memorial remains a place of reflection, remembrance, and education for generations to come.
Project Goals:
Donations to this project will fund enhancements such as improved landscaping, lighting, and accessibility features, as well as updates to honor new generations of service members. The enhancements will strengthen the Memorial’s role as a gathering place for civic and veteran events, including Memorial Day and Veterans Day observances.
