Johnny Sigers is the Senior Director of Project Development in Civic and Municipal Sectors at Samet Corporation. Having worked for a minority construction firm at the beginning of his career, Johnny has a true passion for strengthening and growing the capacities of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise firms. He assists minority trade partners with successful bids on projects and offers partnerships and guidance to help them grow to the next level. He also spearheads Samet’s Students in Construction program to expose younger generations to careers in the trades and offer paths to rewarding occupations outside of a traditional four-year college degree. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate; an associate member of the American Institute of Architects; an associate member of the National Organization of Minority Architects; a member of United Minority Contractors of NC; and a board member for Community Housing Solutions. Johnny resides in Lewisville, NC with his wife and two children and is an Eagle Scout, a scout master, and proud Aggie from NC A&T University.
