Friends of Green Hill Cemetery is a volunteer organization dedicated to maintaining and celebrating Greensboro’s oldest public cemetery. Volunteers share the site’s rich history and botanical diversity through guided tours and community events.
Project Goals:
Funds raised through tours and events support cemetery enhancements and programming, including new benches, plantings, plant identification labels, updated signage, printed tour booklets, and an annual appreciation picnic for cemetery staff.
