A Community-Driven Clean-Up and Beautification Effort
Overview:
Twice a year, neighborhood volunteers gather for scheduled workdays to maintain and beautify Bill Craft Park. These events bring together neighbors and friends who share a commitment to keeping their local park clean, safe, and inviting.
Project Goals:
Volunteer activities include mulching, pruning, and general cleanup of the park, including removing dead branches and small trees. Occasionally, City of Greensboro staff assist with these efforts. Volunteers also fund and plant shrubs and trees to enhance the park’s landscape.
Community Impact:
The ongoing beautification of Bill Craft Park helps create a welcoming public space that strengthens neighborhood pride and provides a place for families to gather and play.
